EndorphinGirl™, suffice it to say, is happy to be on the tailend of summer with 'school' in the air.  Can you imagine that there are two seniors in the house (dare she say three!).  Okay that is some funny humor if you did pick up on it.  The two seniors are seniors because of school.  The third senior is really not a senior, ‘you are only as old as you feel’.  Hahaha.  What funny humor she is starting off with in this blog.  She seems to be amusing herself too!

Okay, let’s get real.  While summer has been extremely endorphin’ filled, it is surely nice when school is back in session too.  Day 1 of classes for one of the EndorphinKids™ started today.  That is daughter endorphin' who is a senior in college.  Day 1 of classes for the other EndorphinKid™ starts tomorrow.  That is son endorphin' who is a senior in high school.

EndorphinGirl™ is a bit beside herself trying to figure out where all the years have gone, since they were but little ity bity EndorphinKids™ just yesterday (metaphorically speaking!) Never you mind, they have a fun-filled respective endorphin senior year ahead. EndorphinGirl™ mamma just needs to deal with it.

Enough of that stuff.  Let's get to the blog updates.   The runtheedge challenge is ‘running’ strong.  The Endorphins are inching up to that 1200 miles completed marker.  Ah, just another 815 to go.  They will do it. Come December 31st, there is no doubt they will have completed their 2015 miles in 2015. Hoot, hoot!

EndorphinDaughter™ (yes one of the EndorphinKids™) is in serious training for her Detroit marathon.  She is rocking the training.  She effortlessly runs some serious mileage in a week.  She is inspiring.  She is very inspiring.

EndorphinSon™ (yes one of the other EndorphinKids™) is also in serious training for his HS cross-country track team.  Training started a few weeks ago.  Yesterday as a bonus run on Labor Day, he completed a 5K with his Track Coach and a teammate. And, he came in third place overall and first in his age group.  What a rock star.  He rockkkkedd it!

EndorphinGirl™ is trying to keep the hell up with them.  SeRiOuSlY!

Oh, by the way, there is another endorphin challenge that kicked off some months ago.  Following a frustration with her core, after a hopeless bikini waring vacation, EndorphinGirl™ decided she must find a slow and steady and sustainable way to tighten the core.  At the end of May she purchased a blow up medicine ball and started using it for leg support in her sit-up quest.  Well she will have you know that since that time she is up to over 150 sit-ups a day.  Okay the core is NOT fully strengthen and sixpack-esqu yet.  HOWEVER in this slow, steady, sustainable way she is starting to notice a little difference.  Now just to keep it up.

Well blogging off, but first a 'back to school' EndorphinGirl™ image, courtesy of 'daughter'!

Until next time, guestcomments always welcome in guestbook, and keep on endoprhin'.
