EndorphinGirl™ is going to be out of town next week on her once-a-year-horse-whisper-adventure with Jack Steel. This year they are heading to a new ranch so there is an unknown in terms of trails and riding and cattle herding and wagon riding and campfire singing and horse whispering and all that good stuff! Yes a bit of the unknown this year.
Their 'regular' ranch in Montana was not available at any convenient date during the summer months so they found a new ranch this year, timing-wise it is a bit later in the year than usual. It will be interesting to ride in September. No doubt the weather will be cooler, and no doubt the ranch will be beautiful.
Her riding level is much like her skiing level. It remains pretty much at advanced beginner. But to clarify that, that level in fact is pretty good. You see she has been skiing since age 9 and only riding for the past 4 years so an advanced beginner level is pretty good. At least she thinks so! That said, she still doesn’t gallop (YET!) but her loping/canter isn’t so bad! Jack Steel on the other hand is a fantastic rider. He can gallop across the western plains with elegance!
Needless to say the next week will be filled with the annual dose of horse-riding endorphin’. She is very excited. She will come back with a sense of endorphin-peace, which will be a result of a combination of the beautiful terrain, the riding, and the connection to the horse whom she no doubt will become extremely fond of. Who knew EndorpinGirl™ would be a horse-lover! She believes the yoga calmness she has learned over the years has been put to use in the development of her horse relationships! No joking!
She will share their stories upon her return. Next week though, she reckons there won’t be any blogging. Out there, yes out West, the cell towers are few and far between. So she really reckons she won’t have any internet! Or it will be spotty! She will however leave bloogees with some extra images before she leaves this weekend and hopes you will tune back in for her next blog on Tuesday, September 17th! Yeehaw!!!
