EndorphinGirl™’s is struggling with the WLC http://www.wholelifechallenge.com/ this time around.  Yeah, it is true. She is doing okay but no way near as well as last time.  Winter blues?  Hmm!  Not really.  She likes the cold. She likes the winter.  She loves the wind.   But she figures even if she doesn’t do as well as the last challenge, at least she is still doing it!

With the WLC struggle and the half marathon behind her, what to do?  Where to focus?  The run the edge http://www.runtheedge.com/2015-in-2015-headquarters/ is still underway so she is certainly focused on that.  But, is that enough.  Hmm?  One month of runningtheedge is complete, which is something!  The total mileage for the EndorphinFamily YTD is 160 miles.  They only have 1,855 miles to go in 2015 to run 2015.  They have reached an almost 8 percent completion.

Okay okay, so the 2015 mileage challenge is a big challenge still. But EndorphinGirl™ is feeling the itch.  She feels something percolating deep within.  What can it be?  When she figures it out she will share it with you.  In fact she will blog it for you.  She is quite sure it will be endorphin' related in many ways.  So stay tuned.

Meanwhile, there are some exciting happenings in the EndorphinFamily™.  In less than one week, one of the EndorphinKids™ will be down under.  She is heading down there, yes down under, for a semester abroad. How dang exciting.  Talk about a lot of endophin’ opportunity.  It will be amazing. It will be beyond amazing.  First of all EndorphinDaughter™ is heading into summer. Lucky!  Second of all EndorpinDaughter™ is going to be surrounded by the most beautiful beaches in the world.  Lucky!  Third of all EndorphinDaughter™ is going to the land with an actual destination called Mia Monkey. Lucky!

Yes, yes.  That is correct.  There is a destination down under called Mia Monkey  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monkey_Mia

Now for an EndorphinKid™ who is fond of the name Mia and who has an affinity for bananas it cannot get any better than this.  Oh and the place, a sort of reserve, is filled with dolphins – at one point her favorite creature; and a place that is known for sharks – at one point her greatest scare!  Now that is beyond cool.  No doubt EndophinDaughter™ may take over EndorphinGirl™’s blog for a blog or two and report some exciting endorphin episodes over the next year.  Or at last EndorphinGirl™ hopes so.

On the other side of the EndorphinKids™, EndorphinSon™ is planning his next half marathon.  Ah, well he actually said ‘marathon’.  He has joined the EndorphinFamily™ ranks and is officially very serious about this running stuff.  Tres cool!

EndorphinGuy™, has stepped up as well.  Rumor has it that he did some awesome skiing this past weekend.  Now, we’ll give him some endorphin’ credit for that.  He is quite the skier.  While he did not ‘technically’ jump the moguls, he was spotted speeding down those big hills, with the wind speeds of 40 mph and the wind chill factor bordering well below 20 degrees F; all of this with extremely impressive 'ski' form.  Well, EndorphinGirl™ was there too.  She semi-mastered the hills but she had more fun basking in the wind.  Yeah, most people have a preference perhaps to bask in the sun.  Well, truth be told, EndorphinGirl™ loves to ‘bask in the wind’.  You read it here first.

EndorphinGirl™ has realized these past weeks, in fact since the completion of the last half marathon, that she is truly a runner. Talk about self awareness.  Scratch that, talk about self actualization.  Freakin' A.  So this is where the next, short-term focus of endorphin', will be spent.  It may even be longer than short-term.  So stay tuned for a Gisela-like EndorphinGirl™ figure to emerge.  Oh yeah, let’s see that happen!

Okay, it is time to blog off, but not before an image.  EndorphinSon™ is back on the drawing board and he has provided bloggess with an image of the EndorphinKids™.  Nice.

Until next time, guest comments always welcome in guest book (ah come on, giver her a comment or two) and keep on endorphin’.
