Day 5 is complete. That is of the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred level 1, 20-minutes-a-day exercise routine. It is a good workout. Endorphins surely flow both during and after each routine. While there is no evidence of any ‘shredding’ just yet, hope prevails.
EndorphinGirl™ did not realize that the 30 days is broken down into 3 levels. The first 10 days of the ‘routine’ are level one, the next 10 days are level two and the final 10 days are level three. EndorphinGirl™ is enjoying level one and looking forward to level two. She has witnessed EndorphinDaughter ‘performing’ level two and it looks nicely intense and even more heart-pulsing, endorphin-enhancing than level one! For any bloggees who would like to see the video (again?) here goes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Pc-NizMgg8 . More updates and hopefully some ‘shredding’ evidence to follow in the blogs ahead.
It is Tuesday so not only is it blog day but it is also Nike Run day. EndorphinGirl™ is not feeling it this evening, and she has 45 minutes to decide if she will push push push through it or go take a nice Epson salt bath. She probably won’t divulge her decision until next blog time.
EndorphinGirl™ had planned to share one more CitiBike tip that she has encountered during her ongoing CitiBike commuting to/fro work. However, she cannot remember what Tip 5 is, she promises to share it in another blog once it ‘reappears’ in the resources of her brain.
Last night was yoga night. EndorphinGirl™ was pleasantly surprised by the class because Julie, the one and only yogi that truly inspired EndorphinGirl™ to stick with yoga several years back, taught last night’s class. It was all by accident. Julie recently started showing up for the Monday night classes as a participant. The ‘regular’ yoga teacher and her backup could not make it (did not show up?). Julie has not taught the class for two years, at which time she stopped to stay home with her new son. She is slowly resurfacing and rumor has it (as she told EndorphinGirl™ ) she might be teaching a Monday night class in the nearest future, one before 7.30 p.m., which would be swell. Last night’s teaching was hopefully the first of many to come; and it was one of the best yoga classes in two years. Julie has an awesome karma about her and it shows through the way she teaches the class. EndorphinGirl™ felt stretched, bendy and great after the class.

Blogging off for now. Til next time guest comments always welcome in guestbook and keep on endorphin’.
