While it already feels like old news, it must be made known / spread even more virally, that it is official. This past Sunday, November 30th, 2014, EndorphinGirl™ lived up to her name [or at least she thinks so] because on that day she completed 365 consecutive days of running at least one mile a day. Yes, the ROC is complete. The question bloggees may be asking is “did she run again on December 1st and December 2nd? Is she continuing to run some more consecutive days?
Well bloggees maybe she is and maybe she isn’t. Stay tuned. For now however, she has moved on to the half-marathon training. She has her work cut out for her. Running one mile a day is one thing, but training for the half is another. Stay tuned for more on that too.
Another type of endorphin’ happened this past Monday evening. EndorphinGirl™ attended an alumni event held by her long-tenure but in the past but always six degrees of separation employer - Yesnikcm. At first she was hesitant about going, not because she did not want to see her old colleagues but because it interfered with her Yoga night. But she put her Yoga mat aside for the evening and attended the splendid affair, which was held at Alice Tulley Hall. The alumni came out in full-force, almost 500 in total, and their Yesnikcm tenures spanned decades at this highbrow institution. Some alumni left Yesnikcm just yesterday while there were others in attendance who left over 50+ years ago. A spendid affair indeed. Where is the endorphin connection you ask – hmmm well imagine being in a room with a significant amount of Type A’s combined with a significant amount of laughter and and a significant amount of happy and liquid cheer; can you not envision, imagine, feel the endorphin’ that went on. It was fun, exciting and cool!
Moving on to the next topic. EndorphinGuy™ is still working on his next challenge plan. He has a lot of ideas percolating, but none are yet coming to fruition. Bloggees, please do be patient with him. No doubt he will have his plan in place soon.
As for the EndorphinKids™ , well they are in training for the half marathon along with EndorphinGirl™ but you already knew that.
All other things aside, EndorphinGirl ™ wishes you a great start to the Christmas season and hopes you get your endorphin’ on particularly when you start the Christmas shopping.
Blogging off for now, but first check out EndorphinGirl™‘s image, courtesy of the one and only EndorphinSon™. Is she in a Gingerbread house?
Until next time guest comments always welcome in guestbook and keep on endorphin’.
