The day started at 6.00 a.m. when EndorphinGirl™ and EndorphinDaughter woke up, got dressed, and were picked-up from EndorphinParents/Grandparents home by EndorphinSister. Like others who have gone before them, they were on a Black Friday mission to attempt to tackle as many stores as possible. Pickup time was sharply at 6.30 a.m. to make the ‘store door ceremony opening’ on time. They were parked in the massive mall parking lot with a spot by the massive mall entrance by 6.50 a.m. At that time there were noticeable parking spaces in view, at least for a few minutes. However, by 6.55a.m. not a parking space was in sight; the massive mall doors opened by 7.00 a.m. EndorphinGirl™, EndorphinSister and EndorphinDaughter entered the mall and hit the pavement running! Well not exactly running, perhaps sashaying? In one store door and out another, and up one escalator and down another, shimmying around the kiosks and dodging the aggressive salesperson. Ah where was that mall cop on his mall scooter to offer a ride to the weary Endorphins? Nowhere, that’s right nowhere in sight!!
For the most part however the crowds were less than expected, thankfully. And the cashier lines were less than expected, thankfully. And finally ~10 stores and ~10 filled shopping bags later at precisely 10.58 a.m. the Endorphins departed the massive mall and headed back to EndorphinParents/Grandparents home for their Black Friday Thanksgiving Turkey lunch. Leftovers rock!
That’s all EndorphinGirl™ has this evening. A lot of endorphins were released throughout this fun-filled laughing, hard-working shopping day with her cherished gals!
Ah but before she blogs off, an image of EndorphinGirl™ from EndorhpinGirl’s son, drawn while the gals were out shopping!
Until next time, guest comments always welcome in guestbook and keep on endorphin’!
