Inspiration.  It is time for some inspiration. We are officially 4 days into Spring.  That should be inspiration.  There is however that lingering feeling of ‘being there but not quite being there’.  If that makes any sense?  It is not quite the seasonal affective disorder (SAD) that is providing that lingering feeling.  [Okay well maybe that is a bit extreme, and that comes upon entering winter anyway.]  But it’s that feeling of ‘almost’. Of almost being there.  The calendar says it is Spring, but the thermometer shows otherwise.

If this is any indicator of where you think EndorphinGirl™  is going with this blog, well you might be right.  Almost there?  She is almost on the verge of her next Endorphin challenge.  Almost?  But she still has not zeroed in on what it may be.  As blogges know she has gone rogue with the second attempt of the Whole Life Challenge (WLC).  She thinks it is an outstanding program; which she successfully completed the first time around, but she simply became bored or distracted or maybe it was something else – that been there done that kind of thing.  She needs a new challenge.  And she may try the WLC http://www.wholelifechallenge.com/ again another time, but she needs a new challenge.

She has been contemplating a number of potential new challenges.  For instance, she almost signed up for the Iron Woman Triathlon for next September.  But, been there done that.  She almost considered signing up for another half marathon.  But, been there done that.  Okay, now she is getting a bit annoying with her cavalier attitude.  She really does need a new challenge, wouldn’t you agree bloggee?

At the same time, at least as a family unit, the

EndorphinFamily™ continues their runtheedge http://www.runtheedge.com/  family challenge.  They are lagging behind their target goal for March miles; well they are almost there, it is almost (argh, there is that ‘almost’ again).  They will not let their ‘lingering’ of March miles turn into any March madness.  Oh no!  And, of course the month is not yet over; she promises to fully report the month’s total in next week’s blog.   EndorphinGirl™  is pleased however that this challenge continues.

Meanwhile, one of the EndorphinKids™, the one who is down under, continues to experience one endorphin challenge after another.  Most recently she participated in some serious hiking that she really is liking!  These adventures will continue in the weeks ahead intermittently now doubt, since school is now in session!.  During one of those week’s EndorphinGirl™  will be in attendance down under and join in the endorphin adventures.  Allegedly there are some serious endorphin plans scheduled in the itinerary already, according to EndorphinDaughter. One of these adventures will not, she repeats will not, include skyflying!  But she is otherwise looking forward to those adventures.  No doubt there will be inspiration in all that they do, downunder!  Stay tuned!

Meanwhile, as grumpy as EndorphinGirl™  may sound, she has otherwise been very committed to her daily endorphin exercises.  She is a ‘religious’ participant at the local gym, often meeting the 16th Street Workout Girls there in the very early part of the day; generally followed by a coffee chat at the local coffee maker place.  Some of the 16th Street Workout Girls have also joined the weekly Monday night yoga unwind.  That has been very cool.  It is quite a bendy group indeed.  And on the days that EndorphinGirl™  is not at the local gym with the 16th Street Workout Girls, she is running a mile or two or sometimes even three to ensure that she is contributing to her share of the monthly runtheedge team miles.

So all in all, thankfully, the endorphins are still active.  She is convinced the next endorphin challenge will ‘come to her’.  Perhaps her adventure down under may bring on the ‘inspiration’ for the next endorphin challenge and that almost feeling / action is gone!

She is ‘almost’ finished with her blog, but first check out an image by one of the other EndorphinKids™ (aka EndorphinSon™).  Does this image give you some Aussie inspiration?

Until next time, guess comments always welcome in guestbook and keep on endorphin’.
