Sometimes goals are meant to be extended, without any sore feelings. [No pun intended!.] As in the case of ‘abs of steel’ goals. Yesterday, July 22nd, 2013, was the official ‘abs of steel’ completion day. However, in review of where the ‘abs‘ are in terms of steel versus some other material, the conclusion is that EndorphinGirl™’s ‘abs of steel’ goal has not yet been reached so it will be extended for a period of time. They look okay, perhaps not steel-like material (YET) but there is some movement in the right direction, even minimal is progress she thinks!. Nevertheless, an increase in sit-ups and plank time will unfold. Her daily plank time is up to a 2.00 minute/plank and her sit-ups had remained at an in-between 50 and 100/day. As of this moment, this very moment, the plank time will continue at 2.00 minutes/plank (well she just got there) and the sit-up motion will be at 100/day precisely. The goal extension will be for one additional moment (scratch that she meant to say month) at which time a re-assessment will take place. Stay tuned.
Other than that, EndorphinGirl™ just returned from the Nike Running Club Tuesday night run. Again she ran with the 3-milers, over time she expects she will run with the 5-milers. Today the 3-milers ran on the East River running path. It was an easier run this evening, the weather, while humid, was in fact a bit cooler. Nike pacer said in general it is cooler running on the East Side because there is no sun in the early evening on the river (East!) generally and the water breeze tends to be cooler. Note to self.
EndorphinGirl™ got her Citibike key fob today. Cool. In fact she had planned to take it with her to the Nike run so that she could Citibike home after the run. That seemed reasonable enough. She however forgot the key fob and walked home. She will, however, transport herself to work tomorrow morning via Citibike.
Today’s EndorphinGirl™ image is courtesy of EndorphinDaughter who envisioned EndorphinGirl™ running this evening’s Nike run in the rain. It did in fact rain earlier right before the run. The rain would have been enjoyable to run in. Another time!
EndorphinGirl™ is still contemplating her next endorphin-enhanced great-adventure and will report back once it is identified; this
still make time.
EndorpinGirl™ is blogging off now. Meanwhile, guest comments always welcome in guestbook and keep on endorphin’.
