Day 325. Forty more days to go and it is a year complete with running-at-least-one-mile-every-day. Yeah! EndorphinGirl™ is definitely ready for this. She is looking forward to a new challenge. And okay, yes okay, she will admit that in some recent mornings it has been a little bit tiring to get up and run. But the flip side of that has been, that yes, she has gotten up and run, and yes she has not had to run in the evenings, and yes she has started her day very endorphed!
Okay back to the next challenge. Well as luck would have it a new challenge surfaced this past weekend. She knew it had to do with running somehow. Thanks in fact to the EndorphinKids™. Not just any EndorphinKids™. either. Her EndorphinKids™. Thanks to those E-Kids a new challenge is upon her. So without any further suspense, the new challenge is another half marathon. Yes, that’s right, you read it here. EndorphinGirl™ ™ through the encouragement of her EndorphinKids™, has signed up for another half marathon.
What’s special about this marathon is that she again gets the opportunity to run with EndorphinDaughter™. AND ALSO a first time with EndorphinSon™. AND ALSO it will be held in one of her four favorite seasons - Winter!! Wow a winter run - January! How could she not want to do a run with these awesome amazing endorphers!!!
Coincidentially, this run is the Fred LeBow run. Fred LeBow is one of the founders of the NYRR (New York Road Runners). He died a number of years ago of brain cancer. The coincidence (although there really are no coincidences) lies in that the EndorphinGirl™ with her EndorphinKids™ will now surely run this run in honor of their dad/gramps, who also died of brain cancer. This all sort of has fallen together, very serendipitously!
The WholeLifeChallenge is into week 5. It is surprising how quickly the challenge time has gone. EndorphinGirl™ is feeling endorphin' happy and would only reiterate that this particualr challenge is a highly recommended challenge. https://game.wholelifechallenge.com/wlcfall14/teams. It is very sustainable, and she finally has seen some noticeable changes. Subtle, but good! Subtle and good is what she was looking for. Yeah!!
Blogging off for now, but not without an image, thanks to one of the EndorphinKids™! Thank you.
Until next time, guest comments always welcome in guest book [EndorphinGirl™ is really missing comments, pleeeassee comment] and otherwise keep on endorphin’.
