Finally EndorphinGirl™ has resumed her early morning workouts. They have been a bit sporadic these past months. The endorphin-activity has been going on as you may recall reading in past blogs, but the schedule has included varied workout times during the day, not consistent morning workouts.
This morning when EndorphinGirl™ got up with EndorphinSon at the rooster cockadoodledoo-ing time, she decided that once EndorphinSon left for school that rather than sneaking in that 15 more minutes of sleep instead she would go to the gym. At first there was some self-negotiation going on, but ultimately her 'self’ one! And she went to the gym. She climbed the ‘stair’ machine which she turned up to a pretty high level. You know that actual ‘stair’ climbing machine not a Stairmaster. She rowed on the rowing machine, day dreaming that she was rowing on the Central Park pond. She did her bench sit-ups in an upside down position. And finally she ‘ran’ a few laps on the ‘stride-glider’. She was flying. It was a good start to the morning. A very good endorphin’ morning.
On a sad note, fish has passed on to fish heaven. In case you may recall the ‘fish story’ from several blogs ago. Fish was over 4 years old. Fish survived a lot in his 4 years. Fish will be missed. And an unusual coincidence (is that an oxymoron, isn’t a coincidence always unusual) ocurred in relation to fish! The Endorphin’s were dining this evening with a friend of son and a friend of EndorphinGirl™. During dinner they were discussing the fish connection. Both boys had gotten fish at the same time over 4 years ago. Up until recently both boys only had one fish left, and both boys had switched to smaller fish tanks (who knew!). And friend’s fish had recently passed on to fish heaven! Well during the dinner hour, the Endorphin family did not know their fish had moved on to the other side as well. Well the fish are at least swimming together again! Unusual coincidence indeed!
