EndorphinGirl™ is in amazement that half of the 2014th year is gone. Is it possible it is really July 1, 2014. July it is at least according to the weather. The 3H’s have been rampant! (Yes that's the hazy, hot and humid!). The 3H’s certainly pose some added challenges to the ROCing. EndorphinGirl™ continues at it no matter. Indeed though it is easier to run in the early morning when it is a bit cooler than the early evening as she plans to do tonight when it is really HHH.
She has increased her daily running generally to be more than the one mile. It ranges anywhere from 1.25 miles to 4.00 miles. Last Sunday evening EndorphinGirl ™and EndorphinDaughter™ had a fantastic 4.00 miler together. They are trying to keep it a routine for as many Sundays that they will be together during the summer.
CitiBiking has been a bigger part of EndorphinGirl™’s life these pass weeks, particularly because she still has a broken toe. While she is still doing her daily run, she has found walking any part of the way to work a chore for her toe! So she has been using the CitiBike to and fro work. It has been rewarding! She has been cycling different routes, seeing new things, and really feeling endorphed! And she is also getting inspired to perhaps shift to a biking endorphin escapade in the near future. Stay tuned.
EndorphinGirl™ will be in the midst of some work travels over the next few weeks so she is not sure if she will be able to post her weekly blog. Partly because of potential unstable networks (that is not always a bad thing) but also because of a pack filled week(s) of work stuff. The good news is that she will have the opportunity to add one more country to her ROCing resume. Perhaps she will set up a goal that will say she must run in at least 10 countries during her year of ROCing. Yes, you read it here, she is planning to ROC for the full 365. She is committed. Let’s see how the running gods cooperate.
On another note, EndorphinGirl™ is not sure how much sense her blog made last week. It was one of those midnight story blogs and while it made a lot of sense to her (at least at the time) it may not have made sense to bloggees. She may go back and edit it at some point, or not. Either way, thanks for reading!
