The runtheedge [http://www.runtheedge.com/2015] is in full force in the Endorphin’ household.  Since January 1 they have run a total of 87.25 miles.  They have completed 4.33 percent of their ‘runtheedge’ challenge.  Just another 1,927.75 miles to go and they have over 11 months to complete it.  They are pumped!

They clearly plan to be ready for the Fred Lebow Manhattan Half Marathon [http://www.nyrr.org/races-and-events/2015/nyrr-fred-lebow-manhattan-half] on Sunday, January 25 in New York City.  For those who may not know who Fred Lebow is; Fred was one of the co-founders of the New York City Marathon.  He lost his life to brain cancer a number of years ago.

The EndorphinFamily™ had always planned to do a ‘run’ together and serendipitously fell upon this one; which has even more meaning because they feel they can further honor their EndorphinDuffy who succumbed to brain cancer last May.  They will run for EndorphinDuffy.  They will run for Fred.  They will run for anyone who sadly is touched by this horrible disease.  Here’s to Duffy!  Here’s to Fred!  Here’s to the brain tumor/cancer community that does so much!  There is no doubt some higher power out there (up there?) aligned the EndorphinFamily™ with this run!

Saturday starts the second WholeLifeChallenge (WLC) for EndorphinGirl™; she cannot get re-started fast enough.  Everything she learned during the last WLC has gone to poop. Pardon the foul language, but it is true.  She alluded to this in a past blog; and it is truly true.  Since the last challenge that concluded on November 8th there have been two big holidays followed:  US Thanksgiving and Christmas.  Suffice it to say, EndorphinGirl™ has not followed all of the good stuff she learned during the first WLC.  Rather, she has lived spurlgeingly in so many ways since those holidays.  But no matter because if at first you don’t succeed, try, try, again!  Oh yeah!  And for anyone interested to join her WLC team, which is named Team Duffy – here’s the link https://game.wholelifechallenge.com/wlcny15/hub#/my-results.  Check it out.

Bloggees, you must realize there is a lot of rest needed during the next 2 weeks in preparation for the half marathon, among other things.  So if you will, kindly forgive EndorphinGirl™ for a less-than-long-blog this evening.

She does not go however without an EndorhphinGirl™ image, courtesy of EndorphinDaugther™ who is on an extended college break – because she has not yet departed for her semester abroad.  EndorphinGirl™ is so happy to have her in the hood and says a special thanks to her for this week’s image.  Take a peak!

Meanwhile, guest comments always welcome in guest book (ah come on give her comment or two) and keep on endorphin’.
