Love hate relationship with a Mac - you cannot cut and past the font you one from one document to this blog - hence, once again today's blog is in the wrong font! Of course, there must be a solution, but time is right now of the essence! Read on. . . . . . . . . .
Blogging once a month has been a weird transition. Tuesday's for EndorphinGirl™ at times have felt empty without this blogging routine. And now, EndorphinGirl™ is not sure how to begin her blog.
Well here goes . . . the endorphin’ activity is forever going on with EndorphinGirl™ and her offspring (aka EndorphinKids™). With the 18 miler and marathon behind them, they are concentrated on completing their runtheedge miles http://www.runtheedge.com/http://www.runtheedge.com/. Their miles activity total at the close of October was 1,587.48 miles, which translates to 78% of the way complete to the challenge goal of 2,015 miles in 2015. They have collectively been aggressively running since the end of October and have less than 7 weeks to go before the end of the year when the challenge is over. Yikes. In other words they need to knock out 427.52 miles. Can they do it? Yes of course they can do it. It certainly has been pushing EndorphinGirl™ to run more.
Speaking of running, [when are they ever not!] EndorphinGirl™ and EndorphinSon™ have signed up for yet another run in December. EndorphinSon™ has signed up for a half marathon and EnorphinGirl a 5K. Just this evening EndorphinGirl™ kicked herself for not signing up for the half-marathon as well. And now it is sold out. The name of this run on December 6th is the Festival of Lights Run, which is taking place in one of the outer boroughs of New York City. While they thought the festival of lights may be referring to a Christmas theme, in fact they will be running in the Chanukah run, which is symbolized by the Festival of Lights. A little bit of excitement there!
It is forever so thrilling to EndorphinGirl™ that her EndorphinKids™ have found such a love for running. EndorphinSon™ is completing his Cross Country running with his high school team on Saturday. His final 2.5K. His PR has been 14.42 mins – he his shooting to PR under 13 mins. You go Kid! Next will be Track, which will start in a few weeks.
Otherwise, the seniors in the house are keeping busy with all those exciting things that come with senior year (not senior years – no we are not talking about EndorphinGirl™ – she is not that old), we are talking about the school seniors!
This is a rather short blog, particularly given the blogging only occurs now once a month, but the senioritis is keeping EndorphinGirl™ bussszy. She must, therefore, sign off but not without a wonderful image, which is courtesy of EndorphinDaughter™. As you will see in the image, EndorphinGirl™ is feeling quite hip. Maybe even a bit hip hip hop!
Until next time guest comments always welcome in guest book and keep on endorphin!
